Fabian is a serial-entrepreneur and investor from Berlin, Germany. He founded Heilemann Ventures together with his brother Ferry after the trade sale of his company DailyDeal, Europe’s first couponing portal, to Google in 2011. Since then he has been an early stage VC-investor, actively supporting companies in the digital sector. Meanwhile, Fabian and his brother Ferry set the fundamentals for their holding Sky & Sand. Currently it combines DailyDeal, which the brothers bought back from Google in early 2013, and the mobile-POS system provider pepperbill.

Fabian holds a Bachelors Degree from Bucerius Law School and a Dr./Ph.D. in Corporate Law from Heidelberg University. He was a visiting student in Santa Clara Law School and Stanford Business School and held a scholarship from Konrad Adenauer Foundation. His passions besides entrepreneurship are surfing, literature and aviation.

Meanwhile, Ferry and his brother Fabian set the fundamentals for their holding Sky & Sand. Ferry holds an B.Sc. in Business from WHU Otto-Beisheim School of Management (Vallendar, Germany) and from University of Nottingham (United Kingdom). He received a scholarship from Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Alexander joined Heilemann Ventures in May 2015 as an Investment Manager. He is responsible for the evaluation of the deal flow and for the countinuous support of our portfolio companies. Prior to joining Heilemann Ventures he was a Business Development Manager with DailyDeal and pepperbill for three years and was focused on strategic partnerships, operations and internationalisations. He also collected practical experiences in IP and Antitrust Law with Latham & Watkins LLP., Brussels.

Alexander holds a Diploma in Law from University of Osnabrück (Germany) with honours and studied at Université de Lausanne (Switzerland). He held a scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Clemens joined Heilemann Ventures in January 2014. Prior to that, he was an Analyst with Corporate Finance Partners, focusing on tech-transactions in Europe and the US, as well as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Gymondo.de (EPIC Companies) and Juvalia&You; (Springstar).

Clemens holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Law from European Business School (Oestrich-Winkel, Germany) and Alliance Business School (Bangalore, India).

Lydia joined Heilemann Ventures in October 2011 as a Venture Partner. In January 2015 she co-founded the corporate finance boutique DCA Europe and runs the business as M. D. Prior to this the was a VP with Corporate Finance Partners (CFP) since 2009, where she advised various major tech M&A; deals including the trade sale of DailyDeal to Google and the acquisition of brands4friends by ebay. In several instances she has also advised part of the portfolio of the Venture Capital Fund of VCDE Venture Partners, venturecapital.de, strategically as well as operationally.

Lydia holds a Master of Science from European Business School (Oestrich- Winkel, Germany) majoring in Entrepreneurship and Finance. She was a visiting student at Bond University (Robina, Australia) and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (Ahmedabad, India).

Manuel is a Venture Partner with Heilemann Ventures since the very beginning in 2011. In May 2012, he founded Toroleo.de together with Project A Ventures. Prior to that he held several management positions at DailyDeal, most recently since its trade sale to Google as an Interim CFO and Head of Corporate Development, taking care of finance integration and managing DailyDeal's finance department.

Manuel holds a B.A. in Business Administration from University of Applied Sciences Kiel (Germany) and University of North Florida (Jacksonville, USA). He was a scholarship holder of the Foundation of German Business.

Patrice joined Heilemann Ventures in early 2013 as Principal and was promoted to Partner in 2014. In January 2015 he became co-founder and M.D. of the corporate finance boutique DCA Europe and remains on board as a Venture Partner with Heilemann Ventures. In prior years he had worked as an investment banker with positions at Sal. Oppenheim, Merrill Lynch and Hauck & Aufhäuser.

Patrice received the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Top Performers Award in 2010 and majored in Business Law, Finance & Accounting at European Business School (Oestrich-Winkel, Germany) and University of Bath (Bath, UK). During this time he founded what is today’s largest student-organized entrepreneurship congress in Europe, EBSpreneurship, and previously carried out numerous small-scale tech projects.
